All Mastodon accounts can interact with each other regardless of the server, just like email. Think of MastodonMedia.XYZ as the domain on your work email, it proves your affiliation and works universally.
MastodonMedia.XYZ accounts are only available to journalists and public figures. This is to ensure Mastodon users will have confidence they are interacting with a verified journalist.
Many Mastodon Servers are currently overburdened and performance is suffering. A defined and dedicated server will ensure better performance for members.
It is easy to migrate an existing Mastodon account to the MastodonMedia.xyz server, we will provide instructions for onboarding.
